The core function of the thrust plate is to balance the axial force, position the rotor, and protect the bearing and motor. Its performance directly affects the operation stability and service life of the shielded electric pump. Attention should be paid to when designing and maintaining:

1. The material selection needs to match the characteristics of the medium (such as corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance);

2. The axial gap needs to be strictly calibrated to avoid being too tight (friction) or too loose (swaying);

3. Regularly check the wear of the thrust disc and thrust bearing, and replace it in time to prevent failure.
